Practical family tips

Book early morning slots for the Zoo and Night Safari, pre-book the moment you buy your pass. Weekend morning Zoo slots fill up fast.
Night Safari timing. It opens at 6:15 pm. Arriving early gets you a seat on the first tram (which departs at 7:15 pm). Younger children often do better on the earlier tram before bedtime.
Stroller policy. The Zoo, River Wonders, Night Safari and Gardens are all stroller-friendly. USS permits strollers but you'll need to park them outside rides.
