Is Hampton Court on the London Pass?
Yes. Hampton Court is included in the London Pass and the Explorer Pass. At £32 per adult (or £35 at the gate), it's one of the higher-value inclusions and often tips the break-even calculation.
Getting there
South Western Railway trains from London Waterloo to Hampton Court station — 35 minutes, every 30 minutes, typically £8–12 return. The palace is directly opposite the station. Note: outside the Oyster/Travelcard zone — buy your train ticket separately.
What to see
Allow at least 4 hours; a full day is easily spent. Must-sees: Henry VIII's Great Hall (unchanged since 1530s), Tudor Kitchens (best surviving 16th-century royal kitchen in Europe), The Maze (from 1690, allow 30–45 mins), 60 acres of gardens including the Great Vine (planted 1768, still producing grapes).
Best time to visit
Weekday visits in autumn are significantly quieter. Gardens at their best May–June and again in September. Busiest on weekends and school holidays.
